Rainbow Suit

To think I was afraid of wasps… Just look at the colours of this gorgeous cuckoo wasp. Ok, ok. They are not the nicest of insects. They live up to their name by sneaking into nests of bees and wasps to lay eggs and let the adoptive insect parent take care of them. Sometimes that involves killing the offspring of the bee or wasp whose nest they invaded. Oh well.. They sure are pretty!
